Thank you to my niece Sabrina for this recipe. We’ve been making these for years, and they’re always a family favourite. They’re simple to prepare, but be sure to refrigerate the dough for at least 4 hours or overnight otherwise the cookies will bake flat.
If you love chocolate, you’ll adore these soft, fudgy cookies with a crisp exterior. They also freeze beautifully. Store them in an airtight container and they’ll keep for a couple of months. You can bake them 1 to 2 days before and just store them on the counter in an airtight container. No need to refrigerate and they’ll stay nice soft.

My Peekaboo Meatballs with a yummy surprise!!😋🇮🇹👩‍ My Peekaboo Meatballs with a yummy surprise!!😋🇮🇹👩‍🍳Open them up and you will find soft melted delicious mozzarella oozing out.🤩These healthy baked turkey meatballs can be made with beef, veal, pork or even a little of each. I always stick to minced turkey bc not only are they a healthier choice, but the flavour of the meat is much milder. 
You will need anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 of a mozzarella ball. Cut your mozzarella into small bite sized pieces. Cup your hand and add just enough meat mixture to make a medium meatball. (I have many videos on how I make my meatballs)Then add in your cube of mozzarella and carefully close it, forming a ball. Be carefully not to overstuff them with or else the mozzarella will come out while baking them. Add them to a lined extra large baking tray and bake them in the top/middle rack at 400 degrees F for 12 mins on each side or until golden. I have also baked them at 420 degrees F as well and they cook a bit faster and also come out great, 10 mins on each side or until golden. Add them into your sauce and continuing cooking them for approx 35-45 mins, until sauce has thicken. You can also use passata instead of the San Marzano tomatoes or sometimes I mix the two together. Either way is absolutely incredible.👌😋Tear some fresh Basil and add on top of your pasta.♥️Finish with fresh  parmigiano cheese. When I’m not using my homemade passata or San Marzano tomatoes, I love to use @mutti_canada @muttipomodoroit. This brand is simply amazing!!🇮🇹👩‍🍳🍅🍝🥫

Wanted to share. My son just put up my new curtain Wanted to share. My son just put up my new curtains from @sunny_blinds_toronto, and I’m honestly obsessed. My daughter was getting married and I wanted a fresh new look. 
They completely transformed the room….so bright, elegant, and cozy all at once. It’s amazing how something so simple can make such a big difference. I’m actually thinking of adding a third panel in the middle. I think it would complete the look when they’re left open. I have a wall in the middle of my garden doors and window. So that’s where I’d put the 3rd panel.

This recipe was given to me a few months ago by Nonna Caterina. She’s my nieces’ Nonna. I’ve known her practically my whole life. She’s a beautiful lady, a great baker and cook too. She’s been making these for years. I tried these cookies at my nieces baby shower and fell in love. That crunch got me!!👌😋👩‍🍳She shared many other recipes with me and I can’t wait to share them with you. I’m trying to get her to come on as a guest. So far no luck.🤷‍♀️☺️Let’s see if her grandkids can convince her. These are so delicious and mind blowing  how easy just 3 simple ingredients can make these delicious, crunchy clusters of goodness.😋👌Can’t wait for you to try them. They come together in just a few minutes.👌They freeze well and they’re crunchy on the outside, but a bit soft in the middle after a day or so. So Amazing!!👌👩‍🍳I made half the recipe which makes 19-20 cookies. I will post the full recipes which will give you approx 40 cookies.

So delicious and a great source of protein.👌😋Don’t get me wrong, I love my meat burgers, but it’s nice to change it up once in a while.😋👌👨‍🍳👩‍🍳
FYI-If you find the patty mixture a bit too soft, just add in a few tablespoons of flour into the mixture. Ours were actually fine. Lightly brush extra virgin olive oil on both sides. Bake in the middle rack at 400 degrees f, for about 15 mins on each side, until lightly golden. You’ll need approx 1 cup of uncooked lentil to make 2 1/2 cups of cooked lentil. Cook lentil on the stovetop for approx 25-30 mins. Drain lentil and let them dry on paper towels. Then add them into your food processor along with all the other ingredients. Stir in one grated carrot right at the end. I’ll add all measurements below.

But I didn’t have it, so I used these 2 disposable ones instead, measuring 10.0cmx20.4cmx6.3cm.  This was another midnight project with my sister in law Anna and I, who was visiting me from Bari, Puglia, Italy.🇮🇹Thank you for this Italian recipe Anna. 
I tried to give you an even number of the amount of neural oil I used. But when converting from ml to cups, it’s not so straight forward. I’ll add all the measurements below. It’s so easy to make, very soft and such an amazing burst of fresh orange flavour in every bite.🍊If you love oranges like I do, then you will love these plum cakes. You can make them all year round.🍊🧡

You need to try my brother in law Vito’s delicious shrimp bursting with flavour.🍤👌😋Secret ingredient is the Grand Marnier liquour. What can I say, we Italians love to add liquor in a lot of our dishes. Don’t worry the alcohol will evaporate and I promise, you won’t get tipsy.🙏👌
You can also bake them in the oven for 20 mins at 400 F. Bbq them on the grill for 2-3 mins on each side. Add them on skewers, turning once until they turn light orange in colour.🍤
(Marinate & refrigerate for a few hrs).
Have a blessed Good Friday.🙏❤️🐣For us Italians that are Roman Catholic, it’s all about the fish today.🍤🦐No Meat.

This was one of my mother-in-laws recipes that had been handed down to her from many generations and this is why it’s so special.🙏❤️👩‍🍳It’s a very old tradition that Pugliese would make on Good Friday and sometimes even on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. But it was too delicious that we couldn’t possibly wait once a year to have it. So my mother-in-law would always surprise us on special occasions and make it. She unfortunately passed away in 2015, so I promised myself that I would keep her memory alive and make all her favourite traditional pugliese dishes for my kids, the rest of the family and for all of you.👩‍🍳 I am so proud of my🇮🇹heritage🇮🇹and I want to keep up all our Italian traditions for the new generation and for whoever wants to learn.🤷‍♀️👩‍🍳In this video I made 2 calzone’s. So I doubled the recipe and used 2 large pizza trays here. 
But I will post the recipe for one calzone and you’ll need only 1 large pizza tray.

I’ve tried so many recipes, but a lot of these sweet breads are very dense and after a few days they become very hard and dry. Not this one. It’s so soft and if you store it in an airtight container or even a ziplock bag, it remains soft even after 4-5 days. If you’re not going to use them all within 2-3 days, I recommend you freeze them. They freeze well and this way they will remain fresh. Please follow the steps in this video and the next one which is Part 2. 
I promise, you will have the best Easter Bread ever. Your family will love it. It’s just the right amount of sugar and you won’t be able to stop at just one piece. You can double or even triple the recipe. With one recipe I make 2 rings. Two recipes will make 4 rings, & if you triple it, you with have 6 large rings. 
Check the bottoms after 19 mins, if golden they’re done. Depending on your oven you may have to bake it for another 3-4 mins.

Dip them in food coloring or leave them as is. Let them dry and then add them into your Easter Bread right before you bake them.

But here’s the Lemon Glaze or Vanilla🍋⬇️

Ingredients 

1 1/2 cup powered sugar 
3 tablespoons milk 
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 
Sprinkles 

Method 

In a medium bowl whisk together powdered sugar, milk and lemon juice or vanilla. Make sure cookies are cooled and dunk each cookie into icing sugar shaking off any access icing.  Place on cooking rack and add sprinkles and get them set. 
A few tips to know: Make sure your icing sets for a few mins. Can’t be too thin. If there’s too much humidity in the room it could bleed. Use high quality sprinkles  with oil based food colouring to avoid bleeding. You can also use a lighter colour. Don’t freeze them with the icing and sprinkles.

Who doesn’t love this dessert??🤷‍♀️I’ve been making so many different versions since I was a teenager. It’s light, refreshing & the perfect amount of espresso coffee, with a hint of sweet pistachio crema, and this Italian mascarpone cheese is…..oh so yummy!!!😋
I decided to do something different this time. I tempered my egg yolks with the sugar bc my mom doesn’t like the fact that this dessert has raw eggs.😉I’m not sure if it’s just in my head now, but….WoW I feel like it tastes even better this way.👌
You can also do this extra step that takes just an extra 8 mins. 
I ended up filling up 6 larges glasses,1 Martini glass and another large plastic take away container for my daughter to take home. That glass can actually be shared with 2 pple or you can do 2 layers instead of 3 & get an extra 3 more. (so 9 instead 6). Also, instead of filling a plastic container you can put the rest in a smaller glass tray or make the whole cake in a 9 by 13inch glass pan (making 2 layers). You can do them all in these cute glasses so your guests have their own dessert topped with a chocolate Easter Bunny. Whipping cream is optional. I love adding it bc it gives it a lighter fluffier texture and flavour. Refrigerate for 4-6 hrs before serving or you can do what I did….put them in the freezer for 30 mins & enjoy!!👌😋👩‍🍳Top with some coarsely chopped Sicilian  Pistachio’s.🇮🇹👌😋
Btw-As you can see I started off very happy in this video & then my mood changed. It was a Sunday & everyone decided to join me in my kitchen & make noise in the back-ground while I was filming. I had to Sssssh everyone in between takes. Why didn’t I do it during the wk when I was alone…..bc I needed pple to eat it or I’d end up eating it all by myself.

The dress was a little big on me bc I had to fast 5 days before the wedding bc I had to get this rash under control. 2 1/2 months ago I got this rash from stress due to my trip. After fasting and only eating once a day, my rash magically disappeared and now I’m no longer on any meds bc of it. It was the most stressful time of my life. I was tested for every food and everything came back negative. It was all related to the stress from missing our cruise ship and all the other details I posted about. Hopefully it doesn’t come back.🙏
Btw I’ve been married for 36 1/2yrs, not 38yrs. Haha!😂We dated for 5yrs.🤷‍♀️

This beautiful light weight comfy designer suit fit like a glove. Along with his crisp white shirt, 2 ties (one for walking my daughter down the aisle and the other for the reception. Even his socks and Italian leather shoes were all from @nellouomo and he said they were the most comfortable shoes he’s ever worn. He wore them for at least 10 hrs and they were soft like butter. So men go see @nellouomo for any dressy  suits or casual attire.🕺

This Sweet Calzone Di Ricotta🍋is a very traditiona This Sweet Calzone Di Ricotta🍋is a very traditional dessert made during the Easter Holiday, from the Region of Puglia,Italy where my husband’s family is from.🇮🇹It’s soft and refreshing and has the perfect amount of sweetness infused with this Italian liquor, Limoncello.🍋Drizzled over top with either Cacao Amaro or Sweet Chocolate right before baking. I made two different ones in the video. The sweeter chocolate is lighter in colour and the darker one is the Amaro, which is a bitter chocolate. Both amazing!! 
I would use the lighter one, I think it looks prettier.👌 Can’t wait to make one for Good Friday and one for Easter Sunday. I also just posted a reel of my calzone without the cacao. They’re all amazing, it’s just preference. It is so important for us to carry on our Italian traditions so that our children never forget their Italian roots.🇮🇹This also helps keep their Nonna’s memory alive by making Nonna Lucrezia’s favourite dessert during these blessed holidays.🙏I hope that you get a chance to make this delicious calzone di ricotta.
