But the icing brings them to a whole new level.🥳 Recipe in my caption below. ⬇️ But here’s the Lemon Glaze or Vanilla🍋⬇️ Ingredients 1 1/2 cup powered sugar 3 tablespoons milk 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Sprinkles Method In a medium bowl whisk together powdered sugar, milk and lemon juice or vanilla. Make sure cookies are cooled and dunk each cookie into icing sugar shaking off any access icing. Place on cooking rack and add sprinkles and get them set. A few tips to know: Make sure your icing sets for a few mins. Can’t be too thin. If there’s too much humidity in the room it could bleed. Use high quality sprinkles with oil based food colouring to avoid bleeding. You can also use a lighter colour. But I couldn’t wait to show you!! So here’s a little glimps.They look like soft cute donuts, but they’re not. They’re crunchy, delicious and the true meaning of “what Italian biscotti really are”. You can make them fancy and add icing sugar with pretty sprinkles for Easter, or you can eat them plain. As you can tell by now, I’m obsessed with anything with Lemons.🍋 So l added lemon juice and zest in mine. You can omit the lemon and just add vanilla. Buonissimi con un bel cafe. I bought this beautiful dress, Giorgio Armani running shoes, and this cute knitted hate for the beach. Had dinner at a Greek restaurant called Paxos. Btw we did not pay extra to eat here bc my parents and cousins are blue diamond and my sis and I were their guests. Guess who also became a blue diamond on her second wk here??? Me!!!😁🛳️👏And I didn’t even know it. There are certain perks for being a blue diamond. How do you become one?? I have no idea how they randomly pic passengers. I don’t gamble, but I did do some shopping in their boutiques.🤷‍♀️ So if you go on a 2 or 3 wk cruise, you get to use their spa facilities for free once a wk, you can go to their restaurant and bring a guest once a wk, free WiFi, free bottle of champagne, chocolates and cookies to your room once a wk. So we got all this…times 2 bc we were on a 2 wk cruise. It was absolutely 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend it. Wish I could have eaten there every night.🫣👌😋❤️Watched another amazing show and then danced the night away under the stars….Bachata one of my fav, along with some Zumba music and moves.💃🏻⭐️🌟🤩 Btw back in the day my Papa use to make his own homemade wine using crushed grapes. We went to a specialty steakhouse restaurant for dinner. I’ll share that with you tomorrow. It’s absolutely my fav dinner. They were wondering why they had all their food taken away from them before entering Mexico. He had packed all these Sandwiches bc she’s pregnant. They said to my Papa, where did you get all those boiled eggs from?? Papa said, from the ship!! But how?? Did the dogs not sniff you?? Papa said, yes of course the dogs sniffed me, but the dogs know me by now and only an experienced #siciliano can pull this off.🇮🇹🤣He said, it’s “La Magia Sicilian”.🪄🧜‍♂️🧙‍♂️🤹🤹‍♂️🕴️I really don’t get how he smuggled all those boiled eggs across with all those dogs. Happy Valentine’s Day.♥️I am making an easy quick Happy Valentine’s Day.♥️I am making an easy quick dessert that only takes a few mins of your time. Chocolate covered strawberries are always a hit a my house.🍓Don’t buy them already made!! Make them yourself and use a good quality chocolate. I guarantee that they won’t last longer than 5 mins on your tray. Add your fav toppings and refrigerate until chocolate is hardened. #20 large strawberries with 1 large package 326g of semi-sweet chocolate. Recipe below.⬇️ 🍓Chocolate Covered Strawberries🍓 Ingredients 20 large strawberries leave stems on 326 grams semi sweet chocolate chips 1 teaspoon coconut oil or neutral oil pistachio’s chopped coarsely to sprinkle on top Method Wash a dry strawberries and stems with paper towel. Make sure strawberries are room temp before dipping into chocolate. In a double broiler, fill your pot half way with water. Add glass bowl overtop with chocolate chips insides. Melt over medium heat and keep stirring. As soon as the chocolate begins to melt, add the coconut oil in and lower the heat and stir until well combined.(Don’t over heat). This all happens very quick. Once the chocolate is silky smooth, remove from heat and begins to dip your strawberries. Grab each berry by the stem or you can use a toothpick and twist it into the melted chocolate and carefully turn it upsidedown and on top of your lined tray with wax or parchment paper. Sprinkle your fav toppings and put strawberries into your fridge until chocolate is hardened. Approx 3O mins or so. Enjoy and maybe you should double the recipe bc there won’t be enough for 3rds!! It’s giving me an amazing massage. Btw I’m wearing my bathing suit in case your wondering.🤣I was trying not to get anyone else in my video.☺️The hot and cold foot baths are amazing for the circulation in your feet and legs. I did this in Italy and Japan but the only difference was that they were actual hot springs.👌I couldn’t bring you into the steam room. One was very strong steam, but I loved the other one too, which was like a dry steam with a eucalyptus scent.👌I also did the black marble hot beds which were absolutely awesome and so soothing. Then off to the sauna and I cooled off in the snow room.❄️☃️What an amazing feeling when you go from the hot🔥sauna to the snow room.❄️☃️You feel your body defrosting.🔥It’s so cool. Last time I was in a snow room, I was in Vegas. Everything was made of ice but the temp was below 0 Celsius. So they gave us a parka to wear while we had a cold shot to drink.🍸 After the cold room I went to the salt room. The beds have this beautiful mosaic on them and they’re very hot but comfortable. You basically go dry up in this room at the very end, so you’re not dripping wet. This room is filled with hemalain salt as well as the ceiling which is so soothing to look at. So we’re on deck 18 where you see the indoor pool So we’re on deck 18 where you see the indoor pool with the revolving roof, lots of huge hot tubs, pool tables and games upstairs. Then you walk out to the main party pool on deck 18. This is where all the dance parties happen. They play games, loud music and lots of entertainment. Let’s go for breakfast at the buffet before we get off the ship and explore Costa Maya. Today’s a beach day for us. The sun is shining it’s 26 degree C, which is perfect weather for us. I decided to try and eat as healthy as possible on this cruise. But I did have dessert and lots of fruit everyday.🤣I never have dessert on a daily basis at home.🫣At home I only have fruit in the morning but here it was 3 times a day with a soft ice cream at midday…..but not always!! But I did manage to walk and swim everyday and burn 1,000 calories a day. I still gained weight when I got back. I hardly drank alcohol, the odd drink here and there. For me the food was saltier than I am use to. So between the salty food, the sun, my desserts and welts….well I was a bit swollen and the second wk was more noticeable bc my welts were very irritated. I was taking Benadryl, but as soon as I would skip a day or even 6 hrs, they would reappear. By the time we got one the ship and got our rooms it was around 1pm and we went straight to the buffet. We were so hungry and exhausted, we didn’t even change until after we ate. It was a chill day just eating and getting familiar with our new home on water. It was ginormous. They keep getting bigger and bigger every year. Part3. More rain, stuck in immigration, can’t get Part3. More rain, stuck in immigration, can’t get a hold of everyone. Honduras will not allow us to leave their country unless the paperwork is done. Who’s doing the paperwork? Good question? I assume @mcsworldamerica had to send our paperwork over to immigration office where we were waiting for hrs and hrs. How is this possibly that it was so difficult to get a hold of anyone on the ship. Our travel agent from Canada couldn’t even help us. Thank god we were only told that it could take 4-5 hrs to get our paperwork ready in order for our passports to be stamped and allowed on board. But the real truth was, that it could have taken anywhere from 24-48 hours for this paperwork to be complete.🤦‍♀️Please make sure you give yourself enough time to get on your ship early so you won’t have to go through all this. Finally get off the plane into this small room that they called an airport/customs. No one spoke English. My phone was not working, No reception & no hotel reservations or driver for us. After waiting patiently in a huge lineup, we go through & met this man who said he had a large enough van to fit all our luggage. He told us that he had a friend who owned this hotel/resto & that they had availability. My dad spoke to him in Sicilian. So at this point we had to just trust a total stranger. It was unfamiliar territory for us, pitch black out & pouring rain. We were exhausted, tired hungry & on each other’s nerves.😩It was very muddy out and the streets were filled with huge pot holes, puddles and we were surrounded by water all around us. It was very scary when he took us up this very steep road….like the peek of a roller coaster!! We said, Omg we’re not going to make it up there with all this weight in your van!!!!🙏🤦‍♀️7 pple, 6 huge luggage, 6 carry on’s and 6 bags and purses. It’s just too wet and muddy!! He said, no worry….you safe.🙏😩🫣We thought that we were at the highest point but…no, he just kept going higher and higher.🤦‍♀️We told the driver we needed to be beside the closest port where our ship would be docking the next morning on Monday Jan19 at 9am which was Port Coxen Hole. He finally arrive & as you can hear we’re asking where the elevator is. Amigo No elevator. 😩🤦‍♀️So our amazing cab driver took all our heavy luggage up for us while we brought the carry on’s. It was pouring rain & very dark out. We had to leave our large luggage on the lower level with my parents bc we were up another 15 flights of steps. We didn’t even know if our ship would even dock here or reroute bc of the bad storm.😔 My mom is upset bc I’m filming them.🤣 0ur driver said he had to take us to immigration the next morning to get our passports stamped or we wouldn’t be able to leave their country or get on the ship.
